| Just because thousands of people believe something doesn't make it true. Millions of people believe we will be better off out of the EU. Millions of others believe we would be better off remaining in. Whichever side of the argument you are on, there are millions of people who believe something that is wrong. Ultimately, neither staying in or leaving will fix the underlying problems in our society. In the case of the cycle lane, it won't "destroy the High Road". It will make it a bit better, but it's not ideal because of all the pedestrians. The better route is along the A4, which would be about 5 minutes quicker to Hammersmith, and without the pedestrian menace. The best option is a route along the A4 AND much improved cycling facilities on CHR as well. It shouldn't be either/or. It should be both. |
