| Matthew, great that Hyde Park cycle lane works for you and other cyclists, but do you genuinely believe that CS9/CW9 down CHR is a safe, well designed scheme with all its junctions and the negative impact it will have on businesses, not to mention the residents, will be adversely affected especially during its construction is the solution ? Not one of the pro CS9/CW9 supporters have taken into account the negatives to businesses and residents of CHR, and quite frankly that's shameful. You're all so focused with tunnel vision about CHR and absolutely refuse to consider the alternative ! If CS9/CW9 a bi directional track was going to run past your front door I wonder how supportive of it you'd be ? Think about crossing the 2 way track to put out your rubbish for collection, or trying to cross it to get on or off a bus, or customers having to cross it to get to a shop, restaurant or visit a friend who lives on CHR, or even say your weekly Cleaner having to navigate a 2 way cycle Superhighway to reach you to do their work, how would that work ? As I've repeatedly said this is a scheme that's ill conceived, ill advised, ill advised and doomed to disaster in the long term, but hey let a fundamentally bankrupt TfL go ahead and spend £70 million of tax payers money on a scheme that CROW couldn't support, without even considering an alternative. Way to go Matthew 😉 |
