| I have just watched the video recording of the recent meeting of chiswick residents and the police.The Superintendent stood up and told the residents that an immediate (I grade call) should now expect to have a police response in 15 minutes.That is absolutely disgraceful and a clear sign of the dreadful cuts that have been inflicted on them.When I was in the Met which is only six years ago,an I grade call was expected to get a response in eight minutes.And I thought then that that was a long time to wait.As an idea of how long fifteen minutes actually is,just sit and watch a clock for fifteen minutes.Then ask yourself if that i an acceptable time to wait for police.As stated in another thread.I came along Chiswick high road on Friday morning shortly after the stabbing.The victim was being loaded into the ambulance.But there was no sign of any police presence.LAS have chronic shortages but they managed to arrive at the location,treat the victim and get him into the back of the ambulance before any sign of police.What does that tell you about the police service we are getting |
