| Very worrying what we heard last night. The Police seem to have lost control. They did not fill me with any confidence and keeping stumm about gun battles in Coveley Rd was very concerning . I agree the cuts do not help but it seems to me if I have understood the thing at all that an element of problem is due to the fact that policing is based on Victorian geography and crazy policing boundaries. Maybe someone can explain it more clearly. We get units from Feltham I think? I doubt many of the massive middle class -dare I say white audience last night - have any idea where Feltham even is let alone been there . The idea that its easy to access W4 from there is just bonkers imo . Its some way away. Lets hope we now see a greater presence locally . The Rocks lane Centre needs to be monitored as their Manager made perfectly clear ,but the Councils need to make sure the streets are properly lit too so the Police need to engage there. Yes Ms Cadbury . She had to make a prat of herself but she after all is a politician and we are current rulers are of poor quality these days. |
