| Don't think you can blame residents again for what happened here Adam. There was plenty of time for Lendlease to proceed with the project when demand for property was still quite high. They overpriced the units and marketed them badly so they didn't shift but other developers have managed to sell units nearby in much tougher market conditions. Lendlease now seem set on holding onto the site in the hope they will get a bid from Sainsbury's which may never come. This area could still be derelict in a decade's time and trying to deflect blame from where it truly lies is just wrong. |
