| Yes - good idea - the problem always is that we never think it's going to happen to us do we? I can't believe where time has gone, most of us will confess to not feeling any different to what we did when we were young. I also think that people in manual jobs will not be able to carry on working into their late 60s, so unless they are in a job where they can transfer to lighter duties where does that leave them? We just don't value older people (she says - being one of them) I think a lot of us could probably run rings around the muppets that pop up on "The Apprentice" for example, you don't suddenly decay on hitting a certain age, on the other hand you shouldn't hang on into your dotage like some of the FIFA mob and become a silly old fart. It's all about balance, but be honest at 16 did you ever think you might one day be an O.A.P. so you should be saving for it? |
