Suspect we will see some historic family role trends re-asserting themselves due to economic and demographic channges though in a more 21st century model and without a full dismantling of the NHS/social security net. What seems to becoming more apparent is that defects under current models we have will create and drive changes once we get through the current denial or U-turn mode that all interested parties seem to be indulging in. I suspect that is not going to be a very pleasant transition for all except the very wealthy who will remain as usual unaffected. The pain that has to be faced per prior postings in this trail is sadly emphasised in this news item I saw today on MSN about the decreasing provisions for retirement currently being made by many: http://money.uk.msn.com/news/money-news/articles.aspx?cp-documentid=158328461 |
