| I was trying to work out which bit of Grove Park you couldn't deliver to David. Was it Staveley Road or Hartingdon Road? I found this: https://www.hounslow.gov.uk/transport-traffic/staveley-road-hartington-road-combined-access-restriction and indeed it says that "Access for visitors or deliveries is not permitted. These vehicles need to find an alternative route via the A316, A4 and Sutton Court Road." Looking at google maps streetview also suggests that a google camera car hasn't been down Staveley Road since 2014 which surprises me ( but of course if traffic is not allowed, wouldn't be so much of a surprise). Was it Staveley Road that you couldn't deliver to? Does appear to be very extreme if what's written on the website is in fact correct. Or is it simply trying to say that you can't pass through Stavely Road if you are making a delivery else where. That would make a bit of sense to me, but it's far from clear, and I can appreciate businesses like yours just don't have the time to drive all the way there with something and find you really can't deliver it! The street view from Sutton Court Road showed no problem with turning into Stavely Road but it was two years old, so maybe doesn't show the signage present now. |
