Slightly off-topic, although I think the Landlord's (rather than the leasing agent's) name was published in another local media source. If memory serves correctly, said landlord has a number of other pubs, so perhaps would take preference to allowing for the continued status and functioning of the pub. If the pub itself isn't for sale (i.e. share of the freehold - or whatever the equivalent is for commercial premises) does anybody know whether or not that would make difference to the viability of a community pub? |
