Any further thoughts amongst locals about attempting to make the Station House a community pub?

Would the Grove Park Group be interested in... raising interest?

According to the information available at Jenkins Law, the lease is on offer for £100,000 p/a.

I think this seems quite a large figure, given that the Station House is slightly away from the busier parts of Chiswick (recently a pub on Acton Broadway, approximately twice the size (at least), also had its lease on offer for the same figure.

So I think it would require some haggling and considerable organisation within the local community for it to be a feasible project. Is there interest?

I don't doubt I wouldn't be in a minority if I said I think it would be a great pity for the remainder of the building to be converted to flats, particularly after the long overdue completion of the piazza.
