| Well I admited no such thing David. I have had three PCNs since I started driving 'landing' in my 'mailbox', none of which were for speeding. The one time I was done for speeding, many, many years ago I was fully aware of the speed limit. I agree you shouldn't have to search for signage to know what the speed limit is, there should be sufficient signage for any observant driver with at least half a brain to be aware of what the speed limit is. Equally you shouldn't rely on what the speed limit was on that bit of road five, ten or twenty years ago, and you shouldn't assume that just because a road has 3 lanes it must be at least 40mph or 50mph. |
