The Evening Standard was famously against the congstion charge, but when implemented the then mayor was quick to point out it benefitted most as it's delivery drivers suddenly weren't perma stuck in loads of traffic. I rememeber the days when the embankment was a solid line of traffic (multi lane) all the way along, I certainly don't see that any more, the bike lane is more congested that the car lanes these days! What slows you down in your motor vehicle David? |
