People that drive slower might get there sooner though, I see it all the time, slower driving means more time to make better decisions and better progress. Maybe in a straight run on the westway west at 60mph you're going to get to the other end of it faster (as long as it's not full up and they havn't reduced the speed limit to 20mph due to damage caused by too many fast and heavy cars). The same isn't true on normal london roads which have traffic lights and pedestrian crossings, long lines of cars etc... so it's much more complicated than that. |
