The figures show there is no 'abject failure' on knife crime - on balance Sir Sadiq's policies seem to have mitigated a rise that was occurring due to range of factors outside his control. The record is far from perfect and, at best you would give him 6/10 for his efforts but no objective analysis would conclude that he has been completely ineffective. If you are going to try and twist this argument to say that I am an apologist for criminals and uncaring about victims, I can't really stop you. If you divorce your opinions from the facts then I can't change your mind on this subject but data suggests that there were probably fewer victims of knife crime in London as a result of Sir Sadiq's policies. |
