| Emma, before posting on this topic, why don't you ask yourself a few basic questions? What is the trend on knife crime in other large conurbations? Where exactly are those no-go zones, except in the head of Donald Trump? Is homelessness confined to London? What was the Conservative government's record on housebuilding? Someone else complained about the increase in the number of food banks during Khan's time in office. What is the reason for this, if not the spread of poverty caused by successive Conservative governments' economic policies? Clearly influenced by the prejudice of some of the tabloids, you concentrate only on the supposed negatives. What about the positives? What about the investment in children's health, in the form of free school meals for primary school pupils in 2023/24? What about the reduction in air pollution following the extension of the ULEZ? Finally, ask yourself whether subliminal racism underlies some of the tabloid attacks on Khan. Also consider how these attacks prejudice Khan's and his family's personal safety. |
