I'd support Guy and Sam too - sometimes you just can't win and this seems to be the perfect example of this. It is all part of our democratic process and it helps the parties identify their potential vote and may save you getting chased up on election day to ask if you have been out and voted. It is also a chance for you to ask questions and pin the parties down, I had a good chat with the Tories as Sam will remember when they knocked here. This tendency to fortify flats and small estates is a right pain for canvassers especially where you don't have external post boxes to deliver to. Perhaps we should all embrace the process more than we do instead of whingeing? After all it isn't as if it's every week, and we all do enough moaning in between elections. |
