| ..or maybe this visitor was inspired by the Canadian legislation that gives candidates and official canvassers the right to access apartments for the purpose of distributing literature and approaching individual residents. Canadians were finding that fewer people were voting and were becoming increasingly disenfranchised when they lived behind communal doors and gates. Canvassing at election time is all part of our hard fought democratic process! |
