| How much will this second referendum cost and who is going to pay? Scotland is having financial difficulties meeting its current commitments- education, social services, health care, etc. They have yet to say what they are going to do with the chunk of funds they received in the last budget. Personally, I think it a pointless exercise and unscrambling the current relationship will be no less difficult than brexit but to try to do the two together will be very damaging to both parties. Sort out brexit to the best that can be achieved for all 4 countries of the UK and then see how the Scots feel about the results and whether it is beneficial for them. The SNP are playing games and it smacks of nationalism and racial hatred. A very destructive tactic. |
