I have been banging on about this problem for years and at last some people are beginning to listen. To late of course as something should have been done years ago.

The rot started to set in with buy to let mortgages exasperated, amongst other factors, by tax breaks for landlords over fist time buyers and the political motivated flogging of of council homes on the cheap to tenants who already had it chusty.

I am sickened that The Conservatives are going to do this again. If the alternatives in the last election hadn't been so dire they would have lost my vote.

What's the answer? I don't know if there is one.
