Talking of sport on the Beeb. I see when looking that the BBC renewed its contract for the Wimbledon tennis after rumours of sharing a deal with BT Sport. Well they pulled out from that idea and the BBC got a cheapish 3 year deal. Only 3 years ? Now i see ESPN have a long deal that ends in 3 years time.

Put the 2 together and i bet you ESPN and BT SPORT will take over the tennis rights at Wimbledon in 3 years time.Would not surprise me if that is already in the offering and BT pulled out of some short term deal with the beeb. Problem is the BBC cant stand up to the cash these giants are willing to put forward. The BBC will likely get certain games away from the big centre court matches and a highlights package offered.
