So The Great Leader has actually deigned to reply to someone? I have emailed him several times over the last few years - not a dickybird in response. Guess the Great Man is Busy or Tired. Funnily enough, I had a reply from him a few days ago about a petition I signed - admittedly that was not without its hiccups as I was inadvertently copied on what seemed like an internal email that basically said 'We've had lots of petitions about this, could someone get their act together and form a response?' If the stuff about his housing is true, what he is doing is totally disgraceful. Why are we not protesting more about this kind of thing, and about the Lords spending a few minutes in the House of Lords and picking up (from memory) about £300 of OUR money for attending, many of whom never speak; and the utterly disgraceful MEP gravy train wich cannot even get its accounts signed off because they are so corrupt. In the meantime, people within weeks of dying are told to go to work, and many of the hardworking poor (although I don't think all the poor are deserving of help) are ignored. Labour are just as bad as the Tories in this regard, most Labour politicians seem to think they are more 'privileged' than ther rest of us. One reason that Corbyn is doing well - about the only one who doesn't seem to think that. Why do we subsidise their alcohol? I don't want drunk politicians who have imbibed taxpayer-subsididised alcohol in the numerous parliamentary bars voting on important issues - whether they are Labour or Tory. Apparently one of the problems that poor Charles Kennedy fell victim to. Assisted dying bill coming up this week - have a glass too many, talk to a persuasive person and then vote? It is crap. |
