| Gosh I gather there has been another row over this and the |Conservatives have walked out of what sounds like a pretty deadly meeting. That sounds poorly managed. . Our local Councillor Gary Malcolm who normally I have a lot of time for then made what I thought was a pretty piss poor statement. Gary u can do better than that . Mr Bell says it is a political witch hunt and his Ma in Law who he tells us is 95 and bed ridden[ give us a break on the emotion mate] is subject to us enquiring as to why he [ or rather him and his MrS] have been able to secure in 2014 a legal charge aN PRESUMABLY A LOAN against a property they acquired in 2007 in favour LBE . I have no interest in whether party politics -seems to me LBE Labour , Conservatives and Liberal Democrats are unable or unwilling to reply or supply very simple information to us Council Tax payers . I was going to hold up writing to Mr Bell until after the election . I keep asking the questions but nobody from any party seem to be able or willing to reply. Are u all in this together? I hope not. . Simply put 1] Why were Mrs & Mrs Bell given a loan ? 2] What are the terms of that loan? 3] Who agreed the loan? 4] On what statutory basis was the losn made? 5] Is the loan legal ? ie is it or is it not ultra vires. I have no interest whether Mr & Mrs Bell live in a Housing Association unit and rents out the subject property[ Looks much like an HMO if the pictures I have seen are to be believed] although as I have previously posted if I was on a waiting list I would be pretty unimpressed with Mr Bell's comments[porkies in my view] on housing , particularly if what one of my correspondents tells me is true in that he owns a THIRD property in Sheffield. Does he|? . That all has nought to do with the price of fish as they say . The questions are simple to answer . I think this all stinks. Why cannot understand why these simple questions cannot be answered and why does it seem impossible for any of the main political parties to gather and disseminate that information. One of my friends who knows much more than I do suggested if i was unhappy I should write to The Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police . That seemed an extreme approach but an enquiry from them might get the real facts and not all this waffle |
