Thankyou Alan. I have no political axe to grind . If what u and the Ealing Gazette[ I am still trying to find a copy] say is correct then there is not possibly an issue , but I still think it would be helpful to all of us who pay for the likes of Mr Bell that he tells us all about it. Whether[1] he should have two places to live is an issue of no concern to me but I expect plenty of people on waiting lists would think that he has been given an advantage because he is a politician and I would question whether the Housing Association would adopt the same stance were it not for his political connections? I note they have not made any statement as far as I know.[2] equally whether he has complied with his mortgage covenants I have no idea as the house he and his wife own seems to have had apparently a variety of uses and occupiers. I still think Mr Bell needs to explain the loan and its basis and also tell us how many other people have loans like this . If the property was registered in the elderly relatives name then I could understand the lien more clearly. It is however not and has been registered in Mr& Mrs Bell's name since 2007 so I still remain confused as to why and on what basis it bears a charge in favour of LBE. |
