How sad "Most people in his position would have done the same thing as he did and kept the social housing." Surely you mean most politicians? The lack of an explanation is inexcusable. Neither you nor I draw a significant sum (the Leader drew £41,400 last year)from the public purse for what, until recent times, was a modestly rewarded post. Nor is the Leader's role the only source of paid employment income for Mr. Bell (as he declares) As such anyone doing so should be beyond reproach. |
