There does seem to be a housing crisis if reports in the press are to be believed. The real issue is IMO is uncontrolled immigration and birth rates and ppl living longer. London prices are so much higher than rest of the country because lots of ppl want to live / work here. Businesses need to spread out to other cities. The immigration problem and the birth problem and ppl living longer is putting strain on housing. IMO immigration should be one 1-1 basis of ppl leaving coming in And a cap of 2 kids per family Cannot see it ever happening because there would be probably be national outrage But i would rather keep the character and charm of our cities / towns and keep green spaces than see it all tuned into houses. |
