Flying isn’t always necessary. Especially since Covid proved that many people don’t even have to go into the office - people can conduct business on Zoom calls etc. I have travelled a lot on business but in hindsight I can honestly say that it wasn’t necessary. It was a jolly and ‘excuse’ to travel the world.
Flying 4 or 5 times a year for holidays and weekend breaks also isn’t necessary and it’s far too cheap. It’s very pleasing that many cities in the world are begging tourists (especially Brits) not to come and pollute their cities. Flying should be taxed heavily and made unaffordable for most.
