| I do indeed walk and cycle. Tomorrow we’re going to Broadstairs and, although much, much more expensive than driving, we are going by train. “ The total carbon impact of a single flight is so high that avoiding just one trip can be equivalent to going (gasoline) car-free for a year.” This government should be making flying as inconvenient, uncomfortable and expensive as possible so that people are discouraged from flying. They shouldn’t be wanting to expand airports. Flying is far too cheap. |
