| It's called war. One started by the genocidal Islamist terrorists of Hamas murdering, torturing and sexually abusing civilians in Israel. On the same day they also took hostages, overwhelmingly civilians. Both constitute war crimes. Israel has every right to defend itself & to eliminate Hamas. Unlike Hamas the IDF do not target civilians. It is Hamas which has terrorized the civilian population of Gaza since they won an election in 2005, killed all their Palestinian opponents & anyone who dared not to conform to their perverted world view, including women & gay men, established a Islamist dictatorship and destroyed what was a thriving economy. They shamelessly use civilians as human shields, including school children and hospital patients. Negotiations HAVE been taking place to free the hostages and end the war; it is the arrogant terms demanded by the Hamas leadership which are preventing any kind of deal being achieved. I hope that the war will soon end but it must not be on the Islamists' terms. |
