Jayne, have you seen the protests today, involving many thousands, including the families of the hostages, in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Haifa and several other Israeli cities? They're complaining about Netanyahu, not Hamas. They see Netanyahu as the biggest obstacle to a ceasefire agreement. He doesn't give a damn about the hostages, and is only interested in prolonging the conflict for his own personal interest. One of the speakers at the Tel Aviv rally was Amos Malks, a former head of the Israel Defense Forces’ military intelligence directorate. He said: “If the families knew how small the gap is, which Netanyahu is refusing to close in negotiations with Hamas, they would explode". “This is more evidence of his unsuitability to serve.” |
