Why don't you engage your brain before posting, Maggie? The peculiar characteristic of the Gaza conflict which distinguishes it from most of the others going on at present is that the Israel campaign of vengeance has the active support of the US government, and the complicity of our government. As I've said before, but you don't seem to understand, Israel is a client state of the USA. If the USA stopped providing unconditional support, Israel might just adopt different tactics. And if our government stopped its complicity, Biden might just think again. So whatever pressure people can exert via their MP or via protests might help. It's not, as alleged by some who appear to be smarting from a perceived slight, merely virtue signalling. It's utterly petty to be squabbling about virtue signalling while Rome burns. |
