| Michael, nobody is disputing that you clever chaps have spotted a mistake on a spreadsheet somewhere. What I believe most reasonable minded people will have trouble accepting is that a business woman with decades experience in the industry will have been misled into a fundamentally incorrect assessment of how her business was being impacted due to a mathematical error. Unlike you, I don't believe that any business person is dogmatic on these things. If your contention that the food market will attract such a large number of people to Chiswick that even restaurants will see a boost in trade on the days that it operates then every restaurant owner will immediately become an enthusiastic supporter. If on the other hand they see an additional fall in takings, the one thing we can predict with certainty is that you and Tom will say they have got their sums wrong. |
