| Michael, it was indeed using the wrong number of months which meant the initial analysis gave sales lower on market days. At least the error was easy to spot as all the necessary inputs have been given. The proprietor now omits all the information needed to check their calculation in order to “simplify” and “avoid confusion”. Given they haven’t even admitted their initial calculation was wrong, that hardly build confidence. Taken at face value these latest numbers show that half the year non-market days do rather better, but for the other half they do very much worse. On that basis, market Sundays are now providing on average rather more and much steadier sales than non-market Sundays. If the number of weeks has again been incorrectly entered, non-market sales might be rather steadier than the proprietor’s latest figures suggest. . |
