I don't think UKIP's intervention, if it is to be, will affect the outcome of the contest. However sound his reasons voters will view Farage's decision not to stand as a sign that the party is not treating the contest as a priority. However gratifying the prospect of the Lib Dems being humiliated at Eastleigh may be in your view, has it not occurred to you that most of the votes they are losing are going to Labour? In Eastleigh this will benefit the Conservative candidate, but nationwide it may well have the effect of keeping your party out of office in 2015. Just thought I'd point it out like. |
