| it is a very large part of the whole unprincipled so-called Liberal Democrat Party. Remember Jeremy Thorpe anyone ? And what was the name of the fraudster who gave millions to the Lib Dems ? And why did the Lib Dems not give back the money it received ? And what exactly was the pledge the Lib Dems gave to students before the last election ? And why are the Lib Dems opposed to reducing the numbers of MP's in the House of Commons ? and why are the Lib Dems opposed to fairer and more equal constituencies so that the number of voters in each constituency is much more equal than it is at present ? And why are the Lib Dems consistently in favour of transferring power from our elected Government and House of Commons to the unelected European Commission and the EU in general ? It is because they are neither Liberals or Democrats. They are a rag-bag collection of unprincipled opportunists like Chris Huhne who present themselves as right of centre when competing for votes in areas where the Conservatives are strong and as left of centre in areas where Labour is strong. |
