Lord Adonis is quoted as saying he "welcomes this court ruling" and that Heathrow is "vital not only to the national economy but also enables millions of citizens to keep in touch with their friends and family and to take a well-deserved holiday." Sorry? His government's plans for expansion have been dismissed by a High Court judge as "untenable" and he welcomes the ruling? What kind of spin is that? Is he pleased to have wasted all that time, effort and money on this pointless expansion exercise? Take a well-deserved holiday Andrew. Just go by train. |
