Susan, that's a very good point. I don't read the Daily Mail but there are some reactionary elements in the Press that hate David Cameron and Modern Conservatism. That demonstrates how much the Conservative Party has changed. The Conservative Party as a whole, in Parliament, and in the country, has moved on and now solidly supports David Cameron and Modern Conservatism which is forward looking and progressive. The Conservative Party is a united modern party which looks forward to the future and promotes the intersts of the whole nation rather than narrow sectional interests such as the public sector trade unions and the public sector payroll vote. It is quite unlike the Labour Party which is deeply divided, very old fashioned, backward looking and is now totally dependent on funding from the reactionary public sector trade unions. |
