"The issue is whether she is a good constituency MP - this involves dealing with issues rather closer to home than the maternal mortality rate in the developing world. If she paid proper attention to her basic job of looking after her constituents, then she might deserve praise for looking after the interests of those in need elsewhere." A nasty, sneering piece of nationalistic tripe - and just what we expect from a Tory. Your insinuation that Ann Keen cannot be a good constituency MP just because she has an internationalist perspective will be treated by all decent people with the contempt it deserves. |
