| Watching the news last night, I learned that Boris is going to cut various projects - the details were unclear, is anything likely to affect Chiswick? The main improvement would of course be a permananet Piccadilly line stop at TG. Does anyone recall the massive petition on the Downing St. website - even Ann Keen got involved! Yet nothing whatsoever has happened too move the situation forward. I recall CCF saying that he expected action around 2011 when the signalling was to be updated - this seemed a rather poor response. But - if the signalling update is to be deferred, does that mean that a Picadilly stop at TG is just a dream?? |
