| Obama will win the US election. The people of the US are more intelligent than the media take them to be (as borne out by Stephen Fry's recent travels). Palin has made the choice a bit to black and white for some folks. In the UK the Tories are getting in next, much to my disgust. Just when I though Cameron had some good ideas he goes and takes a step to the right in his conference speech and uses some very bad cliches. Socerity is not broken, it's just how some papers sensationalise it 'the world is going to hell in a hand cart - buy more papers and be outraged'. It's right up there with BIG LIES such as 'multiculturalism doesn't work'. The UK is naturally multicultural, that's what gives us a cultural advantage over more isolated countries. And no I'm not a lefty. |
