"Raising capital through the stock market is vital for companies wishing to expand beyond their organic growth." That WAS the original idea. If shares where based upon dividends, not how much you can make by buying and selling them, then things would be more realistic and truer to the original concept of shares. It's become far too abstracted and arbitary now and we have potentially created a system that may have the ability to destroy it's self. I'm not saying that will and it may be the case the sytem can't do that. It's a man made system - an imperfect artifact. |
