I have the same opinion regarding politicians as I do for the Police, namely that anyone who wants to actually be one should be disqualified immediately.

On a slightly less droll note. Obviously compared to many countries our system works very well. The real questions nowadays is which party is which. Labour are more Tory than the Tories at the moment.

I do however still think that the major problem with politics is politicians. They become cogs in the wheel and are ultimately too privileged to adequately represent constituents.
