| You could say that about any tunnel or subway in London Richard but there would be an issue with safety for women with this, otherwise excellent, proposal. It to enter or leave the station by this putative tunnel you would have to pass through a communal garden area which would be quite isolated in the evenings. There may also be issues with ambient light if you want to increase safety by making it better lit. Perhaps, were this idea to be taken forward, the tunnel could be opened only during daylight hours. That would also deal with any issue of people sleeping in it. |
