I'm pretty sure doubling back would be okay. Here is what the Hounslow Council web site says, "To prevent traffic from using this as a through route, an access only zone from the Kew Bridge / Strand on The Green junction to the junction of Grove Park Terrace / Grove Park Road was implemented on a trial basis. This allowed vehicles to enter the zone to access residential properties and businesses in the area unchanged, but not to pass through both points as part of a longer through journey." Therefore the only way that you would risk a fine is if you passed cameras at both ends within a undisclosed time frame. This has always been the rule but, as far as I am aware, it has never been enforced. Do we have any evidence that enforcement has now started? |
