| It puzzles me how an ‘Access Only’ restriction was ever traditionally enforced other than by an enforcement agent actually observing or following a vehicle entering and leaving the designated zone. With camera-aided enforcement, drivers should at least be told what time limit they shouldn’t break, as that now appears to have become the offence. I remember thinking when the various Grove Park restrictions were first put in place, that it looked like an experimental test bed for the camera company, with about four different schemes with different functionality. From the amount of money Hounslow collects from these restrictions, the signage is clearly confusing and ineffective, which is unfair on drivers and residents. Time for a rethink and half a dozen planters to block the relevant roads! |
