In the UK we have hundreds of thousands of people from all over the world working with work visas or patriality visas or leave to remain indefinitely stamps etc etc. These are professionals in Medicine, IT, Banking, Engineering, Science etc etc. They have gone through all the necessary requirements to live and work here legally and contribute to the country. They are normally permitted to bring their spouse and dependents of ages 18 and under. There is no ways a brother or cousin or uncle or niece or any other family member may come and join them and enjoy residence rights in the UK. If you are say, Australian, and your Australian uncle is the CEO of a UK corporation based in the UK, it doesn’t give you the right to join him and live here. Why should it be any different for people who are granted asylum here? Just because you are granted asylum why would it be expected that your cousin can come here on the back of YOUR successful asylum status? |
