It is not hard to keep an eye on the shores. Modern tech has surveillance sea buoys that fishing farms and oil platforms use around the world to protect them. They communicate with each other and have live cameras and sensors on them to alert you. So you don't need people patrolling huge miles of coasts in the hope you are in the right place and the silly idea of drones 24/7 operated by humans. Just surveillance bhoys, a few people in a shed to monitor them and the Coast Guard or Navy on standby to intervene before they get too far out. Not sure why its not being used over a few 4x4s hopefully in the right place and a few boats yet again patrolling but hoping they are in the right place before its to late |
