Not sure that was the point jayne was making. "An asylum seeker who decides which country is "safe" for them is choosing a country where they believe they will not face persecution based on their race, religion, nationality, political opinion, or membership of a particular social group, essentially assessing a country's human rights record and considering factors like its asylum laws, political climate, and treatment of refugees to determine where they feel most secure to seek protection" So reguardles of law we can safely say they pass many of the above without paying criminals and putting not only ones own live at risk but others by doing so. Being not in the top ten is neither a point of debate for boat crossings. |
