| The population of India is believed to be about 1,500,000,000. If just 1% of those persons wished to join their families already in the UK that would amount to 15,000,000(fifteen million) extra incomers. Would that number swamp UK's 70m? The Western part of West London could be under extra pressure in ths field of housing and social services. Our health and other services are greatly enhanced by some of these arrivals. Many Indians are employed in the UK in positions of authority. It's a delicate subject. |
