| “ If you are fleeing the fighting in Sudan or Eritrea the last thing you are going to do is seek out the British Consulate.” I would have thought that’s a lot easier, if you are a genuine asylum seeker, than to travel across Africa to Med and take a dangerous boat trip to Europe and spend months there before arriving in France and then take another dangerous boat trip to UK - all costing you $thousands and no guarantees that you will get here alive. |
