It's not the fastest.  Use Bath Road, Goldhawk Road, and Paddenswick Road.

From Bedford Park, you have to negotiate TGT and get across the lights to reach the cycle lane, which is on the wrong side of the road going East.  By that time you will probably already be past the Seventh Day Adventist church on Bath Road, and possibly further on than that.

You avoid the Chiswick Lane junction on the High Road, the Goldhawk Road junction, the delay when the cycle lane crosses the road to get you back to the right side of the road, and a whole bunch of other junctions.

There is no way that the cycle lane is the fastest route.

I'm not one of the anti-cycle lobby on here.  I estimate that I've cycled around 35,000 miles in London, but I have to say that if you want to be taken seriously, then don't make statements like that.  And don't pretend that the cycle lane is wonderful.  It is a seriously flawed design.  It's probably a marginal improvement on what was there before, but there is no denying that it is seriously flawed.
